Instructions for preparing final Latex & Tex files
for publications in AIMS journals
Author(s) of accepted manuscript should prepare the final Tex file, following closely the step by step Instructions4authors.
To expedite the publication of your article, it is important to follow closely the step by step guidelines contained in Instructions4authors. Before sending in your complete TeX files via email, make sure they are error-free
and in either AMS-LateX or AMS-TeX format (AMS-LateX is highly recommended). For papers prepared in LaTeX, MR (Math Review) and arXiv information for all the bibliographies, whenever available in the MR database and arXiv database, should be provided. To find and place such information on your tex file: Where and how to find MR numbers. Templates and other downloadable files are listed below.
All LATEX or TEX related files including Instructions4authors and Copyright Form have been compressed as one single zipped file for you to download at once.
You may use your own macros
ONLY for mathematical notations, but do not create
your own macros for TeX Commands that are already
defined in the system! AIMS class is designed compatible with the usage of amsart document class, which makes conversion from amsart to AIMS
style essentially trivial.
After a paper is accepted,
author(s) should go to the respective journal's site and click "To Authors" to find the corresponding template, retrieve and sign (if available) a "Consent to Publish and Copyright Agreement Form" for that particular journal.
Copyright Form can be downloaded from the following.
Authors of accepted papers will be given the option of Open Access. In this Open Access model, the publication costs are usually covered by your institution or research funds. The publication fee for this Open-Access option is US $800 for each paper. AIMS offers half price if an author's institution is currently a subscriber of the Journal. For detailed information please click AIMS Open Access.
