Mathematical Foundations of Computing (MFC)

Prepare your paper as a single PDF or PostScript file and send it to us

1. using the online submission mechanism, or
2. sending it per email attachment to EIC: Zhipeng Cai and Jiguo Yu

Apart from the PDF or PostScript file, we need the following information:

1. Some keywords and AMS classifications
2. Suggestion of two appropriate responsible editors and three potential reviewers. Note that the suggested reviewers should not have conflict of interest with any of authors.

For a definition of "responsible editor," see the list of editors and their interests. An acknowledgement from the editor in chief will be an indication that the paper has been properly submitted. Upon acceptance, we shall also need a signed copyright declaration form which must be sent to us by ordinary mail.

Manuscripts should be in English and must meet common standards of usage and grammar.

Submission of a manuscript means the author(s) assure that the work has not been previously published, has not been copyrighted, is not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and that its submission has been approved by all of the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out; and furthermore, that any person cited as a source of personal communications has approved such citation, and that the authors have agreed that the copyright in the article shall be assigned exclusively to the publisher upon acceptance of the article. The manuscript will not be returned. Articles should be prepared using some flavour of LaTeX. For submission purposes authors may use any format for the article that they wish provided the page size is 8.5 X 11 inches (21.5 X 28 cm). Please see Tex file preparation for detaied information.

Final manuscript preparation: Authors of accepted manuscripts should prepare their final LaTeX file using the AIMS template, which can be downloaded from the web page Tex file preparation.

The authors of all accepted papers should retrieve a Consent to Publish and Copyright Agreement Form, fill it out, sign it, and email the pdf of a scanned copy to, editorial@aimsciences.org or fax the signed form to (417) 351-3204, or send the hard copy to American Institute of Mathematical Sciences, P.O. Box 2604, Springfield, MO 65801-2604, USA.

Graphics should be in eps format and of high resolution. References should be listed alphabetically, typed and punctuated according to the following examples:

1. C. E. Shannon, A mathematical theory of communication, Bell Systems Tech. J., 27 (1948), 379--423.
2. N. Bourbaki, "Elements of Mathematics," Ch. Commutative Algebra, Addison Wesley, Reading, MA, 1972.
