A : Yes. All participants are required to pay the registration fee.
Q : How is the registration fee used?
A : The conference registration fees are used exclusively for the conference. They help to cover the costs related to the program, conference documents, refreshments and lunches for four days , public transportation tickets etc.
Q : Do I have to submit my abstract online?
A : Yes. Each speaker must submit his/her abstract online by the deadline (Feb. 28, 2010) to be able to give a talk at the conference.
Q : Do I submit my abstract to the organizer of the special session at which I am invited to speak?
A : Everyone should submit his/her abstract online at the conference website http://www.aimsciences.org/AIMS-Conference/conf-reg/index.html .
Q : Do I need to submit my registration information separately when I submit my abstract online?
A : Yes. First, you need to register online. Then you must submit your abstract online. You may logon any time to update your information online, including your arrival and departure information.
Q : Whom do I contact if I would like to re-schedule my talk due to special circumstances ?
A : For a special session talk, send your request to the organizer(s) of your session.
For a contributed session talk, send your request directly to the Organizing Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Stefan Siegmund ( firstname.lastname@example.org ). Such a special request must be received prior to April 15, 2010. Due to the size and the complexity of the conference, there is no guarantee that your request can be fulfilled.
Q : Is there any financial support available for travel and local expenses?
A : Yes. However, our (pending) NSF travel grant support is restricted to graduate students from the US and recent graduates (5 years or less after their PhD) from the US . Q : What do I do if I have difficulties in registering or submitting my abstract online?

Q : I will give a talk. What are the technical facilities? What do I have to consider / What must I pay attention to?
A : All rooms are equipped with blackboard, overhead projector, beamer and laptop. Comments regarding: they are Windows laptops with sound, Firewire, ppt-Viewer, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Open Office. It should be avoided, that you use your own laptops. The technician in every room will play your lecture (from a virus-free medium which does not need any additional device driver for Windows XP computers) on the laptop computers provided.
