AIMS on Appliedn Math. Vol.
1 |
Introduction
This books series
features high quality monographs,
covering topics in mathematical
analysis, or at the interface between
mathematics and other disciplines,
such as continuum physics, biology,
and economics. Ideally, a
contribution will be usable as
a textbook for a topical course
at graduate level. It should provide readers
with a comfortable amount of background
material, a comprehensive presentation
of the key results, and an overview
of current research directions.
In the evaluation of manuscripts,
a systematic presentation and the
clarity of exposition will be emphasized. Extended
surveys of a research area which
has experienced major recent advances,
or important new applications,
are also welcome.
