The Wilmington Meeting The Fourth International Conference on ``Dynamical Systems and
Differential Equations" was held on the campus of
the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Wilmington, NC, USA, May
24--27, 2002. .The conference attracted over 430, a record number, distinguished mathematicians and scientists working in the broad fields of differential equations, dynamical systems and real-world applications.
The meeting was truly a celebrated event of large scale and
high caliber in any specialized field of science. The
participants came to Wilmington to report recent research developments, exchange ideas and information, and discuss the prospects and trends of
future research. More than
